Cooling of UF Concentrate

UF concentrate is a clear, viscous liquid consisting of formaldehyde, urea, and a small amount of water. It is a chemical intermediate for many other derivatives based on Urea Formaldehyde solution. It is also known as TMU (Tetra methylolureum) and Formurea. It’s good properties (including low water content, good fluidity and clarity) makes it an excellent intermediate connection for chemical and industrial purposes.

For this product we have supplied a complete stainless steel gasketed plate heat exchanger. The UF concentrate is cooled by means of glycol. The gasketed plate heat exchanger has a capacity of 65 kW and a heat exchange area of 20 m2.
